Cancelation Policy
Please cancel within 24 hours of appointment if possible. When you don't provide a 24 hour notice, I am unable to fill that appointment time. This can be an inconvenience to therapist and also means that my other clients miss a chance to receive the services they need. I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. For this reason, you will be charged 50% of the service fee for the first missed session and 100% of the service fee each session after that. I may reserve the right to require a credit card to be given to book future appointments so that appropriate fees may be charged if late cancelation does occur. I ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 1 day before the beginning of your appointment. Please consider that I respect and value your time so please respect and value mine. Also note, if you receive a text reminder, I will not receive any texts back from that message. It is a reminder only. You can call or text 719-248-5114 to do so! Thank you in advance!
Sickness Policy
In an effort to maintain a healthy environment, I ask with the most sincerity, that if you are sick (which includes a cold, a fever, the flu, etc.) or have the onset of symptoms of an illness that you reschedule your appointment. If you arrive for your appointment with symptoms of an illness, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment. This is for your well being and mine as well!
Receiving a massage when you are sick is not advised. While in the early and acute stages of a cold, the flu or other illness, a massage can accelerate the onset of the infection and intensify its severity (via additional circulation of blood & lymph). If you get a massage after the infection has peaked, you may experience a relapse of symptoms and feel sick again. Please wait until you have been well for at least a week before getting your massage. If you do need to cancel your appointment, please call me as soon as possible and I will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a time when you are feeling better. Please wait at least 2 weeks for massage after any flu shot/vaccine.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to myself and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
